friday was gorgeous... Sat and Sunday cooled off a bit, but fishing for reds has been excellent to good... trout fishing(catching)has been ok but not wide open... 1/2 limits if you kept after them... no great size, but good solid fish... 17-21"... have had a couple of Black Drum caught already... about a month early.. one Saturday went approx. 50#'s.. not official, it was off the scale, but that is a good guestimate.. water temp 57 or so on the incoming tide... some trout at the jetties.. reds and trout in the back lakes.. cool in the am, lots of sun... making the bite better in the pm..
