Report

WIND HAS FINALLY LAYED A BIT.. .. in the am...then getting up to 12-15 in the pm... water temp 84-85 fish were on an early bite.. croaker soakers seemed to be doing better than those chunking plastics.. Still has not been a good topwater bite to speak of, but, that will change if the wind stays down..POC manners in evidence Sun am in particular.. got cut off twice at daylight by 2 different boats who had every intention of doing exactly what they did.... that is the way down here now.. , but i don't fish the better holes when the "me first" gang is around.. let them learn it on their own.. we still threw soft plastics and Gulp and caught fish on almost every cast..for 2-1/2 hrs..caught approx 75-85 fish... approx 25 undersized.. largest trout.. 22".. the bite was lite, fish just holding on and then spitting the bait back at you.. fun time... no reds.. haven't seen one in 3 or 4 days... 'till next time.. capt mac
