wind finally acts like it is August.. reds are steady to good.. on soft plastics... i think live bait would also work, but we didn't use any.. Trout getting better... 1/2 limits to limits depending on where you are... still slow in a lot of areas, but picking up in others... soft plastics and Gulp.. Offshore:.... i think the Red Snapper knew the Feds closed the season early this year(Aug 5).. had a group of guys in one of my cabins...(Thurs, Fri, and Sat) they caught 25 limits of Red snapper (photo and released) of fish 20 to 24"... along with beeliners, lane snapper, kings,ling, etc...etc.. outstanding 3 day trip.. Although some of the Established offshore captains of POC are either ignoring the closure or don't know... saw lots of Red Snapper on the tables Sat, ...go figure....'till next time...capt mac
