wind up a bit.. the bite sat was tough.. only pencil trout.. small, small....some not any bigger than your lure... reds and black drum saved the day.. black drum to 22" and reds to 27".. best baits live shrimp and Gulp.. Sun went early.... wind blowing approx 20 +++.. throwing Bass Assassins.. lost trout approx 22.. caught another 16".... started working some shallow reefs since our tides were approx 1' high.. water was only 12" or less... hooked up with what i first thought was a red.....that turned out to be a 27" trout... really fat... so fat that it almost looked deformed...fat all the way to the tail.... didn't have a camera...so i temporarily strung the big girl and waded over to a friend and his companion so they could take a look before i released her.. What a BLAST..i originally thought she would go 28+, but it turned out to be just a bit more than 27"...'till next time... capt mac
