hope you were holding on to your hat when that front came through Friday nite.. winds jumped from 17-19 to 30-35 with a few gusts over 40... Friday had a crew in one of my cabins fishing the big jetties... they were catching black drum.... bull reds, whiting, sheephead... etc.. of course they were broken off a number of times... they were using shrimp and sardines for bait.. when that front came through early sat am... everyone grabbed a double handful of something that was not moving.. everyone decided to call it a day...water temps really took a dive... today they are 58-60... wind still blowing with gusts to 26-27... No... Spring is not here yet.. we still have a ways to go... We will be in the Fishing Show in Houston , Wed thru Sunday at the George R Brown convention center.... Booth 512.... come see us... we have a great SPECIAL FOR THE SHOW!!!!..8 hr fully guided fishing for 3, with lodging,and with 3 meals, including a steak dinner with all the trimmings the nite you come in !!!!... all for $600.00... That is 25% off the going rate.. a 300.00 deposit will reserve your trip, but you can pick the exact date later if you wish... ANY day of the week from March 9, 2009 through November 15, 20009... the only catch...IT MUST BE BOOKED AT THE SHOW....
