Friday the weatherman was wrong again... to the good side this time... in the pm the wind layed and it was flat...flat...flat with the pressure dropping. i on the other hand was in Pt Lavaca meeting with my attorney getting some real estate papers drawn up when i should have been on the water.. i got back to the house at approx 5 pm and decided to look at the weather again on the chance the front was going to be late and i could get 2-3 hours of fishing in... weather man ...he say.... the wind would start blowing at 6:30 pm so i decided not to go... at 6:35 the wind went from none to N at 20-25... .. it blew all weekend through Monday.. i canceled my trips and watched basketball...the wind blew all the water out of the bay... tides 2-2.5' low.. had some guys in from SA in one of my cabins... no luck sat, sun and monday only 3-4 small reds.. Sat they went with a guide..(not me)... 2 dink trout and one piggy perch... water temp down to 67-68.. may go down some more tonite... depending on the lows... sad story.. but we know it will get better..
