wind and sun... we have been catching limits of both along with mega batches of heat... wind has shut down mid bay reefs and the water in the bay is turbid for the most part..a blessing in disguise is that the wind has kept our water temps down to 85-86 even with all the heat... had a jetty trip Thursday and found that the wind direction and currents made it impossible to anchor in our favorite spots for bull reds and drum.. while we could have poked around and caught a few fish here and there, that was not what the customer wanted to do..so we called it a day and will do it again when the weather is more favorable.. Fri tried Corpus... more wind than we had in POC with light catches.. Sat had to reinstall a washer and reinforce the flooring so it would not bounce all over the place... Sun a catch and release day.. caught 15 trout total (2 people) not any size to them... mostly on Corky's and Gulp. Quit early... 10:30am...went to watch Golf... already hot..
