still hot..wind lays a bit in the am, but it is not to be as it builds throughout the day.. fishing is still spotty.. , reds steady..trout slow on keepers good on undersized.., sharks abundant..best places, big jetties, Bill Day's reef, s shore Espirit tu Santos bay.. top waters, spoons, gulp, best baits.. went to the Redfish Tournament weigh-in in Port Lavaca Sat... don't remember what the winning weight was, but 2nd place was 14.66 lbs, 3rd.. 14.3 +/-... some of the biggest names were in the single digits... and then some zerodddddddddddddd.... rough water and lots of wind..didn't help much..'till next time... capt mac
