weather just great... water temp 80 in the am to 83.5-84 in the pm.. cloud cover sure helps the fishing... topwater bite in the am at dark-thirty was weak..keeper reds and small to just barely keeper trout.. got my wade cut off by a group of 4 noisemakers... obviously have a good time, but a bit detrimental to the fishing.. i moved to another location to fish deep grass beds and shell... wading and throwing Gulp.. caught 14-15 Trout mostly 15-19".. water barely moving.. working the Gulp very slowly..on a 1/8 oz jig head.. was wishing for a 1/16 oz jig head, but could not throw it very far into what little wind we had.. anywhoooo... quit at 11:30am..caught 3 reds, all keepers, 14-15 trout w/ 8 keepers and 4 ladyfish...all returned to the water to fight another day.. pretty typical the last 3 days... looks like the fishing is picking up... Bye the Bye.. going to put my boat up for sale and get a new one.. if anyone needs a good reliable boat have them call me... 832 279 0261... '03 2350 Fishmaster w/ 2006 Suzuki 225 four stroke..oxy system, 2 live wells, jack plate..Power Pole XL, new 2008, new coastline trailer 2008, etc etc... asking 21500. new retails @ approx 48000. haven't quite decided what i am getting..... either one of those new 23 cats or a Haynie 23' Big Foot...
