wind was really howling this week to 46 mph.. supposed to lay this weekend somewhat.. found areas exposed to wind that were marginal to the 15mph winds.. tried them anyway.. fished approx 3 hrs sat am and 3 hrs sun. am...sat caught 12-13 trout....kept 3 for the table.. good size... 18-21 and fat... sun breeze had switched from the NE to E to SE... still at approx 12-13mph.. still fish in the area again we caught 11-12... kept 6 for the table .. 18-19 range.. had several on a topwater bite but they just would not stick.. if those had stuck we would have been close to limits of keepers in just 3 hours.... went to the house to watch football.. topwaters, soft plastics, catch 5 , etc.. we encourage a keep five limit to help protect the resource..
