usually try to fish on new years day, but looked at the weather and decided a day early would be best.. lots of heavy fog, did not go out until 8:30a or so... GPS and depth finder, along with the compass... slow going and still had one dude that didn't know what he was doing almost run over us... fished w/ soft plastics , elec chicken, bass assassins, chicken on a chain... caught one 18" flounder and about 14-16 reds, 18" to 25"... no trout... fished until the bite slowed (approx 12:30) and then went in to watch football... released all just looking for the tight lines.. had a blast... chose the day right... sunday was blowing...
